Welcome and an Easy Table Vignette

Hello! Welcome to my blog! My name is Kara and have been blessed with a wonderful husband and a house full of boys.
I have always loved to rearrange the furniture, create vignettes, and decorate. I am by no means a professional...I just like to play around with my decor and have fun! I love to shop at thrift stores and also try to re-purpose things that I find so that they can have a new life. I hope that you will join me on my adventures decorating, thrifting and re-purposing! I found this cute little copper lantern at Goodwill for $2

The tea set was purchased at a variety type store called The Emporium. It has 4 cups with it and was only $5 for the whole set! I love the glazing they used on this...so much texture!

This heavy wooden tray was also a Goodwill find for about $3

For texture I first placed a bamboo floor mat on the table then layered it with this lovely homemade scarf that my sister crocheted for me. I thought it looked so soft and fluffy, I couldn't resist using it in my vignette!
